Radio frequency skin tightening (RF) is an aesthetic technique that uses RF energy to heat tissue and stimulate subdermal collagen production in order to reduce the appearance of fine lines and loose skin. The technique induces tissue remodeling and production of new collagen and elastin.

RF treatments are to used to noninvasively manage and treat skin tightening of lax skin on the face or body as well as wrinkle reduction, cellulite improvement, and body contouring.

Quantity and frequency of treatments

Typically, treatment requires a series of 6 treatment sessions lasting 35–45 minutes.

Sessions are recommended to be taken every 7-10 days apart (5 days minimum between appointments)

Notes and recommendations

Clients with large metal implants or electronic device implants are not permitted to have RF Treatment.

It is recommended that clients who wear contact lenses remove them prior to treatment.

It is possible that RF Treatment may cause any Injectable fillers and Botox to break down faster than normal. These areas can be avoided during treatment.
